Switching gears...I had an open-jaw pleasure trip in Oct/Nov in which I flew YLW-YVR-FRA-MUC and returned FCO-FRA-YYC-YLW. The transatlantic segments were on LH metal outbound; AC on the way home. Only 2505 miles posted (status) on the YVR-FRA leg. Yet the full 4678 status miles appeared for the FRA-YYC leg. Why was I given half the miles outbound on LH?

I selected 'economy' on the booking, which yielded a fare that (I discovered later) only counted the domestic Jazz flights as Tango (125 points - no status). Balls. The intra-Europe flights on LH all counted and I gained 500 miles per segment. So why weren't the TATL legs counted the same? The fare class ('Tourist' I'd imagine) claims I should receive 100% status miles...yet the request to Aeroplan has met with stunned silence...
