The gold and silver treatment of the old “H” logo reminds me of foil-backed wallpaper from 40 years ago, in a plastic-furniture-and-shag-carpeting kind of way.
It’s really trying to be cool and hip, but looking at it I’m reminded of the time I checked into the ORD airport Hilton 20+ years ago and was given a very tired room that was in desperate need of being remodeled.
