Absolute chaos. I have been sitting on the 16:05 to Newcastle for three and a half hours, waiting to be de-iced. No-one seems to have any information at all about what is happening, or when we are likely to go.
There are a lot of young kids on the plane (its that time of year), whe are getting very fractious. Fortunately the general atmosphere is one of good humour (so far at least)
Sadly when lots of flights request de-icing it does get rather chaotic. Information is hard to come by as it very much a case of as soon as they get to you. Some aircraft take longer than others to de-ice depending on the build up so it is really difficult to give accurate updates.
