thanks for the help chris, it makes perfect sense now. Basically when i was checking on asiamiles it was using all of their partners to find the flights and miles needed however when i checked on cx it only used cx flights so it required more miles. The routing you wrote is exactly what i typed in on asiamiles in order to find the redemption for 60k. Is there anyway i can check availability online without calling? Thanks
