We all know that the lounges of non-US airlines tend to be better. That said, having some sort of lounge access (whether through direct membership, credit card, lounge program, or elite status) is critical for frequent flying in the US.

For the record, the PC's happen to be some of the best lounges in the US. I couldn't imagine traveling as much as I do without access to them and those at DL and AA.
