FlyerGold III,

I used my AMEX 2 for 1 to purchase tix for
my wife & I YYC-HNL for Feb. When I booked
it over the phone with AC, (I had a CP agent
on the phone when I booked it in Nov.), It
is indeed booked in C class, and a C class
fare is paid. ( $1680 or so vs. J $2200 or so) You're correct-this is the best value
for the AMEX coupon. My ticket is indeed
coded as C class, and we were pre-assigned
seats in the J cabin. Restrictions as per
other posts in this thread. I believe I
will receive Class of Service 125% bonus,
along with double points promo on YYC-HNL!
My wife, who is travelling on the freebie,
gets nothing but my company , and the luxury
of CP's 767ER Empress International service
to Hawaii.
Hope you decide to do the same--I thought we'd never get our due from AMEX!
