The LH FCL at the A gates is a very nice little (by LH standards) and uncrowded lounge. I would hate for it to be ruined by crowding from F pax holding BPs of other *A airlines.
Indeed UA and other *A partners at FRA have a problem; it isn't up to LH to solve it at the expense of its own customers. UA had an IFL and killed it. The message UA is sending to F pax could not be any clearer: if FRA is your final long haul destination or your long haul origination point, do not fly UA; the F cabin is reserved for employees of UA.
In a few years, LH's hard F product in the sky will be up to par, and there will be no need to fly F on UA to and from FRA. UA's days at FRA are numbered, and the closings of its IFL and RCC were merely the first steps.
