I agree normally, but somehow when you are a single guy vs. Family with small children the odds do not fall in your favor. You are made out to be insensative etc. Even the FAs will be lless likely to side with you.
This drives me nuts, but unfortunately it's true. I just try to grin and say "I would be happy to trade for any other non bulkhead aisle seat in FC."
Usually, someone else in one of those seats trades with me and he/she winds up taking the undesirable seat the family was trying to trade me for. Of course, I look like the bad guy, but in the end the family is accomodated and I am still in a non bulkhead aisle in FC.
