The only thing any type of lawsuit would accomplish is to line the pockets of the lawyers. Honors could then justifiably pull the current program all together. The main thing accomplished will have been a few people with inflated views of their importance will have made the majority of the people lose all of their points and status.

Every frequent flier program, hotel program, car rental program, etc have been changing the earning and redemption levels. This is the nature of the beast. If you don't like it go to another program. Just be aware that the other programs do exactly the same thing at some point and time.
