Recently I opened a rewards plus gold card ($150 annual fee with free additonal cards). Yesterday when I contacted MR and asked about MR points on this account, I was told that there is a targetted "double points" promotion for first year of card membership on every purchase (not just travel related charges) and 1.5 points after the first year. According to them, the bonus points will be posted 6-8 weeks after the regular purchase has been made.

Is there anyone who got the offer and bonus points? Or, anyone who didn't get targetted but, considered as targetted (like my case) and got the double points (mine, yet)?
