True about not judging a book by its cover. Respiratory, heart, rheuma, post surgery or anything orthopedic can make it really cumbersome to walk long distances particularly if you have luggage.
On a number of occasions I've actually asked for a wheel chair when coming in from a transatlantic flight. I have a bad hip. When I get on the plane in Europe all is good. But when I have to do the whole immigration, customs, luggage, gate ordeal and stand in line for an hour (the slow walking/standing hurts) it's really not nice. So I take a wheelchair. I do get out for security and immigration and I always give the pusher a good tip.
It is a little faster but that's not what matters. It hurts less and that's good.
