During IROPS unless you paid for a FC ticket using $$$ and a real F fare code (not an A or X-UP) all other methods of having been in F for your original flight just don't matter.

We are on the standby list, #9 and #10, of 10 on the list, for Y seats with 2 seats in F available for purchase on the first flight out of ATL tomorrow. No you may not be placed on the UG list since you are standby for Y. UG will go down to a gate lottery for which we are not eligible to play.

Unless you buy a real F ticket, DL views all other methods of getting into F as "cheating" and during IROPS you go to the back of the bus.
