I got a flyer inviting me to apply for an Amex Starwood card (I already have a lowly green Amex card which get fairly heavy use and a MR account).

Once or twice a year I buy some points to top off my MR account before transferring the points to my FF account.

Does anyone know if Amex will let me do this with the Starwood card and if so what limits there are ?.
