No, the information is insufficient to claim under CIBC Aerogold coverage. The policy specifically requires information on the reason for and duration of the delay as well as any compensation issued (by the airline) to support your claim.

Only if the delayed flight was a scheduled service by an airline (chartered flights excluded) and the delay of the flight was the result of one of the following reasons: strike by airline personnel, quarantine, civil commotion, hijack, natural disaster, inclement weather, mechanical breakdown or air traffic delays caused by congestion in the skies.

Receipts must be provided.

The coverage is for Reasonable Living Expenses to a maximum of C$500 plus $100 each on Transportation and Entertainment expenses.

My guess for the required additional information is if you submit a claim for $30 for meal and AC has provided you with a voucher for $10, the insurance company will send you $40. No double benefit.
