Thanks everyone for your input. I'll likely make the change to F on the way back as well... Any thoughts on Connecting in FRA vs. the US? Right now I connect via FRA on the way back on an earlier morning flight, but I could connect via CLT on the way back instead. I could also take United back to IAD, but I think I would lose access to LH's First Class lounges, correct? Is it just personal preference? I wonder if UA will have any of it new seats by then?

Let me know anything else I should know. Thanks!!!
