What I would have liked to read more about was what you thought of the service and the seats on SQ however.

In regards to the food on LX, on my recent F trip (new A333) to JFK I found the food to be excellent, but then I did only have the fish/veggie stuff.
Thanks Clubman.

It was a while ago now, but in short the SQ seat was very comfortable and slightly more enclosed than the LX seat. Despite that I found it a little more 'lumpy' and difficult to sleep on than the old LX seat.

The SQ service was up to the standard that many bang on about. It's not however, to my liking. I am a fan of a more European type discreet, understated and perhaps impersonal style of service. I really don't like being addressed as 'Mr blah' - but that's a personal thing.

I wouldn't (and haven't) rushed back to find seats on SQ for my future trips. I would recommend it to those who like their style of service but for example my in-law's are about to cash in some miles to fly F for the first time; I have already found a few options on LX for them!
