I am not quite sure I would choose IC HKG over CP.
- Service at IC is excellent, but as it is in any other luxury hotel in HKG (read: excellent service too at CP)
- The view at IC is superb [if you get a harbour room], but if you have a night drink in the lobby of the IC, you will get this view for just a few dollars (the view from the top floor rooms of the CP is nice too)
- Location of IC may be an issue as there is not so much action in this part of the city
- No lounge access unless you pay for it at IC (free for Plat+ at CP, including an excellent breakfast at the restaurant)
- CP is brand new (IC has air conditionning issues in some rooms)
- very nice outdoor pool and spa at IC (just a small outdoor pool at CP)
