It is very disheartening!! But what I can vouch for is that there is at least one Amex customer service rep that really cares and another hand full of FlyerTalkers that really care too.

^:-: The Amex rep that I've been in touch with through FlyerTalk has really gone out of her way to try to make things right.
Amex originally gave me 3,000 courtesy miles and the FlyerTalk Amex rep followed up with an additional 10,000 miles. That's a whopping 13,000 miles which I wouldn't have gotten had I not decided to post this problem on FlyerTalk. I'm still short over 7,000 miles which I still think I'm entitled to receive but I'm not as bitter as I was before. At least not towards Amex. Delta is still on top of my poop list!!!
Thank you all for your time in reading and replying to my post.
As for Delta, you guys are poop!! For those that have the time, please read the following two e-mails I received from Delta. Let me remind you that these two e-mails came from two different customer service poops. I sent a complaint towards the first e-mail I received on 11/10 and then ended up getting another e-mail from a different poop on 11/12. The two e-mails are practically identical. They must think I'm a fool!! I wonder what Delta's definition of "equally deserving" is?
