I'm sure people have seen many Lounge / seat / Airline here questions, etc, but it is certainly confusing, and would sincerely appreciate any advice.

I am a DL Plat and may be coming back over to to Star Alliance (Former UA1K). I have booked the following Award ticket in March on LH with CO miles (which was incredibly easy as a CO Plat) Its amazing how quickly CO adapted to Star Alliance and DL and NW are still a mess!

Basically ATL-FRA-MUC in First / Business outbound and Returning MUC-FRA-ATL in Business

Basically I wanted to know the following:

I believe I can / should use the First class Lounge (and not Terminal) on my layover in FRA on my outbound. Do I get car service, etc from the Aircraft to the lounge, or do I just follow the masses? I saw something about a Bus as well. Is the Lounge in B the best Bet. Also when ready for my connection flight, do I get a Car to my FRA-MUC flight?

On my return I have elected to go in All Business to save some miles and the 'Mini cabin' seats on the A330-300 are available in the front of business. It saves me 15,000 miles, and since I have flown First before, may be worth the savings. However, are there any BIG benefits to flying F on the return as far as the ground service is concerned? I have the miles to do it if it's worth it.

Thanks for any thoughts / opinions / suggestions. I haven't LH or UA First in about 5 years. I was upstairs on the 747's so I don't know how the 330's stack up. I wasn't sure either if it was worth trying to take a United Airlines flight back in First instead of LH so I have all LH for now. Maybe a connection in the US on the way back would make more sense. Thanks for any suggestions / Input, etc!
