Not my experience... and this makes me a bit angry at BA because if they'd let me cancel my ticket then I could have gotten this route which is almost identical to the one I'd booked with BA (fare for my wife and I) as of five minutes ago;

Business class discounted rate - $9000
Business class flexible rate - $23,000!!!!!!!!!!!
