I would go for SPG Plat.
Big difference from SPG Gold to Plat. I am a new HH Diamond and so far have not seen much difference from Gold. Also, the Surpass card can get it for you.
I like SPG cash and point redemptions. HH redemptions are only worth it for GLON or Axon awards (IMHO).
