I have a girlfriend in southern Russia. She has no telephone or computer and must use a public telephone and internet cafe (they don't make much money there). I want to send her either a telephone card or a cell phone so that she can call me while I"m in the U.S. I'm looking for the most reasonable approach. Yes, I can get her a cell phone, but it will cost me $4.00/min for her to call. I can get a PIN so that she can call me on a public telephone and bill me at $2.00/min. Does anyone have an alternative? Thank you.
