Absolutely right, unless you have a very big pocket (cargo pants, anyone?) but since the G10 was on the OP's list of possibles, and the G11 is the same size, I figured it was worth posting. (Anyone who buys a camera sight-unseen is not necessarily stupid, but should make sure the seller has a good return policy.)
