Searched for 3 F tickets today by schedule, fully expecting to take advantage of Delta's fabo new multi-tiered award structure. Resigned to paying whatever amount they are asking for but this takes the cake.

For some reason, Delta.com shows flights in First as open. I click book for the outbound and the return. The summary page show the outbound in coach now and the return in F. I put it on hold and figure I'll call SMS to figure it out since there does not seem to be any way to actually book both legs in First.

Delta.com sends me a confirm showing the first two legs in coach and the return in First:

I call SMS and they say the entire thing is actually in coach. I look online and yes, the class of service on the return is showing as "Y"

To make matters even worse, the agent says it will be 100K to do this itin in first. I tell her to cancel and go to NWA.com and book it while I am speaking with her for 80K!

How can the worlds largest airline with such an industry leading FF program have SUCH A TERRIBLE website?
