For the few times a year I use the tollway in Illinois, I bite the bullet and pay cash. Yes, it costs more. Yes, it takes longer. But I had been getting reimbursed by the company and they hadn't bought an IPass for me. Unfortunately—or maybe fortunately—for me, the places that the tollway are designed to go either aren't convenient for me to use or aren't places I need to go.

As a kid, I remember my dad telling me that when I was his age the bonds would be paid off and the tolls would be removed. Hahahahaha. What a shock! They're still here, and I'm older than my old man was when he told me that.
