For the airlines where the flight attendants change their outfits more than once (JAL, as reported here), do they have a special dressing area? If they had to do this in the bathroom, that would not only require a lot of dexterity, but would occupy the limited facilities for some time.
For non-US airlines, especially those asian base, curtains at the galleys are closed off most of the flights except take off and landing.
