The FAQ was correct for e-Tickets, and this comprises 95%+ of the tickets issued. Somehow you ended up with a paper ticket, and this seems not to work for that. So, while the FAQ is correct in the vast majority of cases, it seems to be incomplete in that it doesn't include this relatively isolated case. It's information like this that helps to make the documentation more complete ^
