Apparently this is why bank branches still exist, too. I have used online banking for a dozen years and cannot even imagine the idea of walking into a branch to do anything--I have never found it necessary. But there are plenty of them around.
For retail customers not much point. For business a lot of point. Try depositing 100+ checks and a few thousand dollars in notes and cash into an ATM.
