As the OP is an EXP on an international itinerary, why would a day pass to the Admirals Club be relevant? Won't he be able to visit any OW lounge he might encounter on his journey?

IS a Flagship Lounge at MIA and as an EXP, you'll be entitled to visit it if you route LHR-MIA-DFW-GRU. That trip could be upgraded with one SWU (assuming applicable inventory is available).
