I'm pretty sure it was GBP 300,000 (I applied my usual inaccurate exchange rate to get the dollar amount
) when I first got my membership pack, but I was part of the first intake, so I guess they will have moved up the bar since (as they have moved up the fee ... )
I'd like to think that $1M on deposit would allow you some 'pull' with Amex!
Either way, you'd
