In the UK, if you have more than $500,000 on deposit with Amex Private Banking, they will pay your annual Centurion Card Fee.
Whilst this isn't exactly what you asked, it is an indicator of the kind of level that they consider "Interesting".
Other people have also discussed the Amex HNW and VHNW labels, that are applied to customers that are considered to have very extensive (and liquid) assets. You can search for the details, but we are definitely talking multi-Million $$$$ totals, usually with an international bent (so that you are a potential customer for tax mitigation schemes).
If you've got $1M to deposit, it'd certainly try telling them you'd really like to do business with them, but, "by the way" what is this Centurion Card you've heard so much about?
It may well get results...
