But Swiss customs officers were nowhere to be seen at Eaux Vives. There was an office, but it was closed. It was the 5 pm TER arrival.
At Cornavin, French officers were on duty. There was a sign that says "get your ID papers ready" but I knew the sign was erected pre-Shengen and promptly ignored it. I was just ready for customs check, if any.
