Did you check the germs on the upholstery of the seats? Or on the toilet seats?

IIRC, blankets are on a pretty high replacement/wash cycle, which is why they got cut out of the entire fleet except wide bodies and 757.

And they're a must on a redeye in Y (and sometimes on a day flight as well, for naps and/or temperature reasons).
