I thought I knew all of the GAs at FLL - perhaps Andrew is new....his attitude certainly doesn't fit the profile of the staff there.

My Travelpro duffel is only 22", but it looks massive, especially when packed - I've had a couple FA's gasp when I hoisted it to fit in the overhead, then try and figure out how it fit in so easily.

Why sweat it? If you know you're bag will fit - fairly (lengthwise, not taking extra space) - then let him tag it, and while marching own the jetway, rip off the tag and stow it onboard.
