That is a slightly different scenario. If the price tag leads you to belive something costs X, but you are charged Y at the checkout, the contract to sell has been formed. If you have not made payment for the item, and the shop notices the wrong price tag, they can refuse to sell.
Some shops (such as Tesco) will honour the price for the sake of customer goodwill.
It's not a different scenario to the post I was actually responding to, which suggested that UK retailers were not obliged to honour errors. If they wish to sell the item, they have to sell at the error/advertised price. They can refuse to sell the item at that price however.
In the situation described in the OP, as I said earlier in the thread, BA are not required to accept the offer from the customer.
