Anyone ever heard of the phrase "it's the though that counts"? I'm in sales and I can tell you one thing I've learned throughout my career is that it's the little things people remember when deciding which brand / vendor / airline they choose. I'm not naive enough to think that Delta is the best airline since sliced bread, they are the best for my needs relevant to complimentary upgrades, route availability and FF benefits overall and this unexpected gift was another small indicator that my business matters and is appreciated.
???????
I may be wrong but I think he was serious as am I...I want THAT gift vs the Tiffany for instance. Am I missing something?
FYI, you are not the only person who gets thank you gifts and they do vary quite a bit. Yours s a particularly tasty one.
