[QUOTE=Sagy;12974313]There is no maybe about it. AA made over $220M from bag fees during the
first half of 2009. The $130m is an estimate for a
year.

Maybe AA should double their bag fees since they can make so much money at it, and ground a bunch more MD's and accelerate capacity reuctions.
Or maybe they should do a passengers fly free and charge for carry on (maybe $50 each) and checked baggage ($100 each).
Then they can advertise they have the highest bag fees against WN's bag fly free or B6 first bag free (and PTV).
But our airline fees for passengers is free.
AA needs to figure out what their long term strategy is.
What ever they are doing now has not worked for years.
And the non Legacy's keep getting stronger and pick away at the majors.
