Interested to hear opinions on this one.

In my opinion the Club World Experience is not so special these days.

The Seat, the lounge facilities (especially at T5), and the crew generally meet my expectations but on board the "premium" bits of Club seem to be lacking.

The quality of the wines and Champagnes is lower than previously.

The in flight entertainment is not reliable, and often does not work properly.

The food is ok but the presentation is not up to much, and the afternoon tea is positively awful. A shrink wrapped sandwich thrown on to a plate and a scone (served the other day without jam or cream (because it had not been loaded!). The breakfast offering from New York is abysmal, a bit of fruit served in a Starbucks style plastic pot is hardly classy.

I noticed a few days ago that even the main meal has been changed. The chocolate has been reduced from two to one, and not in a box now, just plonked on the tray. The hot meal served in a tiny foil container on a plastic dish. The presentation was very poor and the quantity would not have satisfied a child.

Recent experiences on American and Cathay showed me that other airlines can get it right, and are improving the product in Business Class while BA seem to be cutting the luxuries to the bare mininum.

Am I being too picky?
