My wife an I attended a By Invitation Only
event at the James Beard house in NYC last
month. The AMEX rep told us there are
515,000 Platinum and Centurian card holders.
Not sure if this is the worldwide total or
just U.S. She also said AMEX was considering
expanding Centurian membership. She stated
if they do that then they might have to
have 2 travel concierges for each Centurian
member. She each travel concierage is
available 24/7 for the Centurian members
they are assigned to. They have beepers.
