I've worked with TM reps before and this is considered completely unacceptable behaviour, and if I were managing that person I would consider it grounds for severe reprimand / probabtion if not immediate termination. I hope you got the name of the rep and you can write a letter or call to speak to a supervisor. Since it was a financial services call - I bet it was taped. Also, whenever you speak to a TM/CS rep, try to get their name and id number if you can.
