In your case, they weren't out there to "stick it" to you. You violated the CoC, plain and simple. Instead of trying to portray yourself as the victim here, you should probably be lucky they re-accommodated you on another flight after your name-calling (whether in a calm voice or not).

The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of elite-level flyers out there that will complain about ANYTHING, regardless of situation or airline. They knew that, and the fact of the matter is that you did contact the airline, just as they thought you would.

Let it go, and show up on-time for your next flight.
LessO2...I don't think you understood the gist of the post or at least my intent. Is it plausable that airline employees can stick it to a customer by noting them as a problem to Immigration. I don't know if that is via the PNR, local immigration, or another way, that is why I asked. Could they make trouble for the traveler whatever reason they saw fit. Maybe because he was truly a jerk, or wearing brown shoes, a political t-shirt, an Armenian last name, whatever they did not like. I was asking for for an informed opinion on how the system worked, not a critique of travel etiquette.
