Have they gone too far with the on-time bonuses for the GA's/supervisors?

I saw quite an involved discussion of this the other day, but can't find the thread right now. The bottom line seemed to be that the contract of carriage says you can lose your seat if you don't present yourself at the gate 20 minutes ahead.

Seems GA's often unofficially give people an extra 10 minutes of slack, causing some of us to cut it closer than we technically should!
