Pros
  • sometimes some great room upgrades
  • free breakfast (though sometimes only the cold foods)
  • nice fluffy robe
  • never had a problem redeeming points

Cons
  • Nor 1 made nicer upgrades harder to get
  • service very inconsistant hotel to hotel
  • rates that gave points often not as good as other chains
  • benefits drying up, a couple bottles of water you need to beg for does not warrant 28 stays someplace
  • their on site customer service has degraded quite a bit recently at many properties
