There was a similar thread started recently in which the person who did not receive the wake up call awoke on his own with no repercussion to his day. That person wanted compensated for merely not receiving the call regardless of whether he was had suffered from it.

It may just be me but I think that waking up is my responsibility. I've used wake up calls as back ups before but have never relied on them. I have a cell phone with alarm and most every hotel I've ever stayed at has an alarm clock. When I'm at home I'm able to wake up without someone calling me, so I think I can handle it on the road.

I'm sure I'll be in the minority here but I'd say no compensation - as long as an apology was forthcoming from the mgmt.
