From GP T&C (bolding is mine):

To receive Hyatt Gold Passport points, member must be a registered guest [...] the bill for eligible charges must be in that member's name and member must personally pay for all charges. A member's account number cannot be used by anyone else in order to accrue Hyatt Gold Passport points, benefits, promotion credits or upgraded membership status.

From The Next Big Thing T&C (bolding is mine):

To receive one (1) free night you must be a Hyatt Gold Passport member, [...] be a registered guest physically occupying the room to which you are registered and pay an Eligible Rate.
