That is true. It looks like I purchased the ticket on September 15th which is a few days after I returned home from Burning Man. That is kind of late for Christmas. The ironic thing is that I checked potential flights the day before and the 6:55pm flight to FAI had seats at the 12.5K level. I quickly called my friends, talked it over and made the decision to fly up to Alaska for the holidays. By the time I logged on to purchase the ticket the next day, poof!! The lower mileage fares for the earlier flight was gone. In one day......
