I agree -- Probably 200 posts ago, I posted what the EO 12958 and other executive branch guidance says about private citizen possession of classified material. In real espionage cases, classified information is surrepticiously removed from government possession and passed to a foreign person. There is money or other sort of compensation involved. This SSI stuff doesn't even come close. There could be administrative sanctions levied against those who mishandled it in the TSA. But, any private citizen who manages to come in contact with this information can wrap Christmas presents with it if they want.

King and his buddies are in the minority in Congress right now, so, the best he can do is to run around acting like Foghorn Leghorn.
