Thanks for the reply. The UA rep on the phone told me the customs/imm was different (just like the US).

I have a follow up question. We just bought the ticket today and the return is FRA-BRU-IAD-LAS, with (of course) FRA-BRU on LH. What is the baggage allowance for 2 star golds on an upgraded C ticket (on the UA flights)? I am unclear from the website if it is just "intra Germany/Euro" or if we get the normal North America/Star Gold/Business allowances?
