That's not possible.

I'm going home for winter break. But, would they likely check for a military ID? I looked at my itinerary and nowhere does it say that my fare is on a special military fare or anything like that. It looks like a normal itinerary. I mean, would the ticket staff even be able to see that I used the discount code? How does the process work, anyway?
And, the code was actually provided to the public on RetailMeNot, so I don't see how this is my fault for using it. If Continental didn't want me to use the discount, then they wouldn't provide the code there in the first place or let someone use it. Make sense?
Maybe if I just explain that it was a honest mistake, they'll let it go? I mean, it's almost Christmas and all. Airline workers are human beings, too.

Andy1369, I would suggest (if at all possible) to do OLCI and check no luggage. You need to avoid human interaction. It will be very expensive if you are asked to provide a military ID and are unable to do so. I'm sure the Y fare will be much more expensive when it is used to replace your discount economy fare on day of departure.
But of course, the plan of action in the future should be exactly as sbm12 advises.
