It's true that AA FAs don't do a lot of bowing and scraping, but I would much rather have a comfortable seat, and I think AA's beats BA's.
This is exactly why I preferred the service on AA/F longhaul to CX/F. Unquestionably CX had the better product (although the seats were slightly better on AA) in terms of entertainment, amenities, food, drink. But the service was better (to me) on AA.
